Molly and Kirk’s Hill Country Wedding
Molly and Kirk are an impeccably beautiful and stylish couple. What we admire most, however, is their romantic love story that led them to this clean, minimalistic, and incredibly meaningful wedding celebration! In these photographs by talented Taylor Lord, we feel the love. Due to a long distance relationship (and we're talking countries apart!) and many, many years... this couple was so ready for their forever! On the design side, we absolutely adore their mismatched bridal party look and the modern florals by Sprout Floral Design, all coordinated by Mayhar Design...
From Mayhar Design: "Molly and Kirk had not only been dating long distance (Houston / Canada) for over 9 years before they were married, but needed to pick a wedding date without knowing if they could get Kirk’s American citizenship in time, all due to the circumstances of the system. They are both deeply passionate for the land and a sustainable life and in hopes of honoring that, every decision made was one of intention and purpose. One of our immediate decisions was to host the wedding at the beautiful Prospect House venue just outside Austin. Set against the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Molly fell in love with its stunning design. Every decision following was specific and meaningful to their relationship, their passions and the environment. Floral design, food selection, paper goods design and everything else along the way was based up a natural and authentic aesthetic. We designed a wedding that was meant to be clean and minimal, and only presented pieces of the puzzle that were necessary and made a statement. With Kirk’s citizenship clearing just a couple of weeks before the wedding date, it was a truly emotional experience that I am so happy to have been a part of."
