Sweet orchard elopement at Niagara-on-the-Lake
Like many couples, Sharon and Jon's wedding plans were thwart by Covid 19 restrictions so they decided to pare things right back and tie the knot during an elopement pop-up event held at Gracewood Estate at Kurtz Orchards in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Their beautiful celebration was small but no less special as you'll see in the beautiful romantic imagery by Kayla Yestal Photography.
After the stress of 2020 for couples and wedding vendors, Ontario wedding planner Shaw Events wanted help couples realise their wedding plans with a beautiful ceremony, while taking care of all the work surrounding it. Founder Danielle helped Sharon and Jon create an intimate micro wedding with some cultural elements, incorporating both Chinese and Korean ceremonies to honor their backgrounds.
The floral design from Fleurish Design Studio worked to a soft neutral palette of ivory, nude and blush with roses, dahlia, ranunculus and snowberry with lots of textural details. We love the floral pillars at the top of the aisle, full of fluffy white hydrangea and roses. The ceremonies took place in a pear orchard, surrounded by grapevines. Sharon and Jon then led their guests to a cherry orchard for dinner, where they dined at beautiful rustic wooden tables while watching the sunset.
