From the heat of yesterday's red wedding inspiration from Jen Wojcik Photography we're doing a 180 and giving inspiration to Winter brides thinking about having their engagement shoot done in the snow. This snowy winter engagement shoot is from film photographer Jordan Brittley and shows bride-to-be Brittany and fiance Aaron having fun in the snow and most importantly incorporating things they love to do as a couple... From Brittany: "Our engagement session location was just outside my fiancé’s aunt and uncle’s house near a small town in Southwest Missouri. There’s a cute, old building near their house that’s covered in vines and snow which is in a few of the pictures. The house has a small grove of trees near it and large, open fields all around. The snow that fell a few days before our session made the field and trees like a winter wonderland. It couldn’t have been more perfect! I think my favorite memory was cuddling up next to Aaron on a bench while Aaron read to me from one of my favorite books. This is one of my all-time favorite things that Aaron and I do together. It was easy to feel like we were sitting at home on the couch while I curled up next to him and listened. I’m really glad we included such an important piece of our relationship into our session. I think it’s really important to find a photographer whose pictures are a style that you and your fiancé like. Find a photographer that you are comfortable with so the two of you are completely comfortable and can truly enjoy your session. If you’re going to splurge on something for your wedding, I think engagement and wedding pictures are the way to go. It’s important to have pictures that capture the details and special moments so you can remember them forever. And you want pictures that you’ll be proud to display around your home for the rest of your lives."
