Stylish black-tie wedding on a ranch in New Mexico
Wedding inspiration can come from absolutely anywhere and family heirlooms are a good place to start. An ornate leather saddle belonging to bride Lauren's grandmother in the 1940’s was the perfect addition to the couple's ranch wedding in New Mexico, where the guests were able to mingle with the horses during the reception.
Over to wedding planners Amber and Gabby from Banks and Leaf: "The moment Lauren said she was hoping to display it somewhere, we immediately started brainstorming with Ink Revival and Sweet Zion Paperie on a thoughtful way to do that. We worked together to create a seating chart telling gets to 'Saddle Up' before making their way to the reception. It had a beautiful natural grasscloth wallpaper that tied in the rest of the rattan elements carried throughout the wedding.
"Never miss an opportunity to bring in little personalized touches to your wedding. Tell your vendors anything unique about your families or you as a couple. It’s our job to bring those little intricacies of your story to life."
