Photography ~ Lauren Kinsey Photography From the bride, Leslie ~ "We knew from the beginning that we wanted to have a destination wedding and we liked the beaches in Florida, so we decided on the Santa Rosa Beach area. We initially had another venue reserved, but as luck would have it, that venue fell through and we ended up choosing Eden Gardens. When we visited again weeks later, I knew we had picked the right place. Eden Gardens is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice and I really feel that we were supposed to be married there all along." In end, we had a laid back and simple wedding. It was perfect." When the doors opened, I remember looking all around at all of our family and friends and feeling so lucky that we had these amazing people in our lives. It was very emotionally overwhelming. The day was filled with so much love and happiness. We couldn’t have asked for anything for more." But we decided to do a first look session before the ceremony because of the timing of the ceremony, and I don’t regret doing that one bit. We were able to be alone with one another before all the craziness of the day started. It puts everything in perspective…you’re there to start your lives together." We were married exactly 8 years later. It just worked out that way and it wasn’t planned. I didn’t even realized it until I was going through my things and found the old prom invitation.
