Orangery Wedding Style with a Nude Colored Wedding Dress
When nude is anything but plain... be still our classic-meets-whimsical loving hearts! This absolutely stunning wedding inspiration, designed by Frog Prince Weddings and photographed by Fine Art Curation member Sarah Sunstrom Photography (talk about a dream team) features a nude wedding dress that we simply love. The incredibly enchanting and old world venue, Cliff at Lyons, bodes well with the modern fine art design feel and we adore the floral installation creeping up the fireplace - so beautiful! If you're looking for a fresh feel to your Fall or Winter wedding, this is all the inspo you need...
"This luscious and enchanted editorial was inspired by the old-world Georgian charm that the Cliff at Lyons offers. The village that is now the wedding venue was created in the 1820’s. Originally built by Irish dynasty, we kept this inspiration for the editorial traditional, incorporating tones that reflect the landscape. Our bride’s dress was nude colored with an ivory embroidered overlay that softy swept the ground as she gently spun around. Her veil complimented the dress in cathedral length. Her hair was adorned with earth toned flowers and greenery. The rust and beige colors brought out the green in her Irish eyes. Delicate jewelry enhanced her natural beauty. Our groom looked dapper in his slim fitting, traditional tuxedo. The 20-seat chapel was flanked by a beautiful floral installation that complimented the curvature of the 19th century doorway. A stone walkway served as a bridge to the little chapel over the most serene lily pond. The soft trickles of water from the fountains created a sense of enchantment amongst the busyness of today. Our ceremony and reception was held in The Orangery. A greenhouse turned elegant venue, houses a wall that served as a trellis for the fig plants on the property. The aroma was sweet and fruity as we documented their ceremony. Our table was filled with gold details, glass chargers and a handwritten menu for each guest. Our cake featured gold deckled edging with sweet sugar flowers atop. The table was complete with a whimsical floral arrangement that mimicked the tones of the property. Our couple explored the property, stopping for a few portraits here and there. They even enjoyed a game of chess on the oversized board featured on the lawn. Our day was complete with the wonderful hospitality that this wonderful venue provided."
