Modern Romance in a Heritage Venue
Spring has finally sprung and we're welcoming the abundance of seasonal florals and lighter bridal looks for a Spring bride. What better season to get wed in than the season of new life? This editorial from photographer Maricle Kang and stylist / florist Everly Fleur is the epitome of this fresh season - full of neutrals with pops of bolder color with a modern design and contemporary twist...
From photographer Maricle Kang: "The vision for this shoot was to create a contemporary yet classic wedding. Modern details were used for the tablescape in a classic way. Center piece and flower arrangements were botanical garden and spring inspired: airy, wild and loose to reflect the flow of flowers in nature. A touch of bold colours in the arrangement and lounge chairs emphasize the moods of sophistication and elegance.
We had simple and clean layout for the invitation suite, to create a blend of modern and timeless feelings. Boldness was created by the contrast in colour palettes of different pieces. We chose an elegant gown with feminine details to reflect the vision. This shoot helped us fast forward to the season of Spring, whereas it was pouring rain and cloudy on the day of the shoot. We hope this styled shoot will inspire couples about a contemporary yet classic wedding."
