Modern Intimate Wedding with Ines de Santo Gown
We love wedding planner and stylist extraordinaire Pamela Barefoot Events so we're thrilled to show off one of her recent weddings with photographer Vicki Grafton Photography. This opulent yet intimate wedding held at Anderson House, Washington DC, is such a showcase of romance and old world style. My favorite? The tulle-laden Ines Di Santo gown - swoon...
From Pamela Barefoot Events: "European opulence with a modern twist - This colorful, romantic D.C. wedding was inspired by the opulence and grandeur of the Anderson House, with modern touches and bright florals to reflect the spring season. The European influence of the venue came through the paper products in particular, as well as the ornate gold details on the table. A modern table setting reflected the personality of the couple, while our palette did not feel out of place in the venue. We embraced the natural beauty of the gardens by keeping the ceremony space simple, adding colorful flowers that blended into their surroundings. The bride’s airy, feminine gown from Ines Di Santo was incredibly romantic, and combined with her soft updo and sparkly shoes, she was glamorous! Vibrant flower arrangements and a cheerful bouquet spoke to their early spring wedding, and the exciting adventure they are embarking on."
