Intimate and Eclectic Real Wedding
Katie and Stephen’s wedding from film photographer Sawyer Baird represented the two of them just right: an intimate woodsy space at a friend’s property to honor his outdoorsy side, and soft, artsy touches that showed off her love of beauty and simplicity. They wanted everything to feel artsy and eclectic with a feminine flare. Katie’s utilised her family for her big day as her mum made the table linens and the ceremony benches, bags and cornhole game. Dressed in a BHLDN gown and surrounded by colourful florals from Intertwine, this is one woodland wedding not to be missed...
From Katie: "There’s nothing sweeter to remember than the first moment I got to see Stephen in my wedding dress. I thought I might pass out, but the adrenaline of coming up behind him and having him turn around is something I’ll never forget. I walked down the isle to “A Soft Place To Land” by Kathleen Edwards. My brother is a musician and recreated the chords. It was so meaningful. We danced to Ingrid Michaelson’s version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.
From Sawyer Baird: "Photographing Katie's wedding was an absolute dream. Her Anthropologie taste and attention to detail showed with every little thing. Katie & Stephen are simply adorable and we were beyond happy to capture their Northwest wedding!"
