Intimate blue and white destination wedding in Tuscany

Blue and white was the wedding color palette of summer 2022, largely thanks to the #coastalgrandmother trend that exploded on Tiktok. We reckon it's set to continue for a long time yet and this gorgeous intimate blue and white destination wedding in Tuscany is the perfect example of why. Lisa and Gustav’s micro wedding celebration took place on a beautiful sunny day at the enchanting Villa Montanare in Cortona, and was well worth the long wait after two postponements due to the pandemic.

The Swedish couple worked with the creative powerhouse Weddings by Silke to make their Tuscan wedding dreams come true in the charming olive garden behind the historic villa, all beautifully captured by Swedish wedding photographers, 2 Brides. A pretty arch formed the backdrop to their nuptials, filled with olive foliage and gorgeous white flowers including roses, peonies and lisianthus.

Beautiful bride Lisa wore an elegant Grace Loves Lace gown for the ceremony before changing into another stunning dress from Abby Waits for the couple portraits and dinner. Together with their guests, Lisa and Gustav enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour by the pool where they grazed on the most delicious elderflower-lemon cake and Tuscan finger food. The small wedding party then sat down for an al fresco dinner on the wine pergola terrace, where the chic blue and white table design set the scene for an idyllic intimate meal.
