Gucci wedding inspiration in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast
A winding three mile journey up mountain roads from Amalfi takes you to the gorgeous resort of Ravello, which has been attracting famous names for decades, including D.H. Lawrence, who wrote Lady Chatterley’s Lover here in 1928. The idyllic spot is the scene of this Gucci wedding inspiration editorial, captured by destination wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Liz Andolina, high up the mountainside at Villa Cimbrone - one of the most stunning wedding venues on the Amalfi Coast.
The timeless elegance of Gucci together with the beauty and colorful history of Ravello set the vibe of this chic wedding portrait session, designed by destination wedding planner, Kaleb Norman James. The small town of Ravello is built on a series of terraces above steep cliffs that plunge down towards the sea.
Sitting high atop the headland with stunning views of the Mediterranean, Villa Cimbrone is the jewel in the crown of Ravello. This refashioned 11th-century villa is now an upmarket hotel with sublime gardens and the famous Belvedere of Infinity — a roof terrace lined with a series of marble busts that sparkle against the blue sky above and the azure waters of the Mediterranean below.
