Gucci herbarium print wedding inspiration with fall flowers
Gucci's Herbarium print — a vintage-inspired Toile de Jouy pattern of cherry branches, leaves and flowers — is now almost synonymous with the brand, and typifies the Italian fashion house's signature spirit and style. The iconic floral print was the inspiration for this stunning wedding editorial with fall flowers at Cordiano Winery in California, which brings a taste of Italy to the golden state.
"Our goal was to provide an alternative colour palette to those attracted to a maximalist wedding vision," explains California wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Carmen Santorelli Photography. "We used the Golden age of Dutch paintings as our foundation, layered natural light and Gucci’s seductive Herbarium pattern from the now former director, Alessandro Michele. This is the result. Unapologetically maximalist for the modern goddess."
