Green and white botanical wedding in Hawaii
Today we're sharing an intimate vow renewal for the most lovely couple, brought together by a team of stellar wedding vendors. Janet & James decided to celebrate their 10 year anniversary in Hawai’i with a small gathering of family & friends at the exclusive Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina. J&J's florist, Debbie at Designs by Hemingway was given free reign to style their intimate affair, inspired by Janet's Berta gown. To offset the white floral blooms in the ceremony, botanical foliage was added, naturally climbing and hanging off a long dining cabana at the reception. As you'll see, it created a feel of walking into an intimate tropical jungle with rattan lighting and hanging white orchids over the table. The perfect design for this setting, and we love how the dining set up transitions flawlessly from day to night against the backdrop of a colorful and seemingly endless Hawaiian sunset. Oh and look out for the adorable flower girls, who are truly the sweetest!
Fine art curation member, Lindsey Boice Photography says 'Janet and James' vow renewal was an intimate, love-filled gathering, and a true honor to photograph. In terms of photographic direction, the couple encouraged complete creative liberty to document the weekend candidly, and through our own artistic eye. With that direction in mind, my team and I shot this event with a mix of digital, 35mm film in both color and black and white stocks, as well as point and shoot film cameras to highlight the different chapters and tones of the weekend and couldn't be happier with the story the finished collection tells.'
