Love classic wedding style with a touch of glamour? You're going to adore Valerie and David's stunning outdoor wedding at Anderson House in Washington DC. Designed by wedding planner extraordinaire Pamela Barefoot Events, this spectacular celebration is full of elegance from the show-stopping flower-filled reception space to the sparkler send off.

Bride Valerie is a girl after our own hearts, rocking not just one, but two stunning wedding dresses on the big day. She choose a a strapless beaded Galia Lahav gown for the ceremony, that she paired with Jimmy Choo bow heals and her hair set in elegant Hollywood waves.

"Our first look was my favourite moment," said David. "I thought I was mentally and emotionally prepared to see Valerie, but as soon as I turned around, I lost it. Valerie was absolutely gorgeous, and thanks to her maid of honor, a video was taken and immediately sent to all our friends, of me crying and saying it was all worth it!"

We are head over heels for the reception space in the European-style courtyard at Anderson House, filled with soft romantic lighting from flickering candles and custom chandeliers. "The baby grand piano in the middle of the reflecting pool and the pianist, John Hall, were later design additions that really stood out," adds Valerie. "Not only was the piano an aesthetic focal point throughout our reception, but our pianist played and sang the most incredible songs, which just added to the romantic ambiance we envisaged."
