For couples thinking about their engagement, elopement or anniversary sessions, we recommend choosing a spot that is relevant to you and also interesting enough where you don't necessarily have to use tons of props! The historical Boyce Thompson Arboretum is a great example of a magical location that has so much interest and beautiful scenery for this gorgeous session by Sarah's Garden and Melissa Jill Photography. With Khristine in a sleek Houghton gown, provided by our favorite The Dress Theory, this gorgeous couple looks stylishly in love...
From Sarah: "The inspiration for this wedding shoot was simple, sleek elegance juxtaposed with living, botanical beauty. Our aim was to create inspiration for the couple that wants something different from soft pastels. The result is ultra feminine, yet still sophisticated. We turned our attention to nature's lush and beautiful creations: ferns, succulents, tillandsias, and the giant Gum tree. We were also inspired by the love and happiness shared by our models, real life husband and wife Sonny and Khristine, as they spent the afternoon walking the gorgeous grounds of the 90 year old Boyce Thompson Arboretum."
