Colorful summer wedding at Gadsden House in Charleston, SC
Bright and joyful flowers were the perfect choice for Jenna and Logan, who tied the knot in a colorful summer wedding at Gadsden House in Charleston in South Carolina. "The vibrant hues of coral, pink, orange and yellow really set the tone for their celebration and perfectly complemented this sweet and happy couple," explains their wedding photographer, Charleston-based Kailee DiMeglio.
Jenna and Logan were both raised up North but were eventually drawn to the warm southern sun and the relaxed pace of coastal living. Jenna was an effortlessly gorgeous beachside bride in her spaghetti-strap gown with elegant lace train. Logan looked dapper in his blue suit with a yellow rose fastened to his lapel.
"The couple said their vows in front of a menagerie of tropical-inspired flower arrangements, and then strolled down the aisle with pink and white rose petals raining on their beaming faces," adds Kailee DiMeglio.
"After the ceremony, the wedding party enjoyed the quaint courtyard of Gadsden House, cooling down with ice cream pops from a bicycle cart. For the reception, florist Petaloso transformed the historic venue into a botanical museum, with bright, artful arrangements that complemented the elegant dining space, designed by Spellbound Events.
"As the sun set, Jenna and Logan took to the floor for their first dances, and then cut their wedding cake adorned with flowers and Jenna’s parent’s original cake topper. The wedding party spent the rest of the evening dancing, laughing, embracing and basking in all of the love that filled the room."
