Bright spring wedding with pastel flowers in Texas
The grins on these newlywed faces are filling us with total joy on this grey Monday morning. Have you ever seen such radiant smiles? Christina and Stefan celebrated big with three different wedding ceremonies (Vietnamese, Taiwanese and American) followed by a super gorgeous reception at The French Farmhouse in Collinsville, Texas. The day unfolded with moments of pure magic and incredible pastel flowers at every turn, inspired by the couple's love of nature.
Over to bride Christina to tell us more about it: "Our vision was to create a wedding that represented us as a couple. We love minimalist, organic designs paired with personal touches. Shades of sage, ginkgo illustrations, and wood pieces were highlighted to bring a soft organic feel to our wedding that was a touch rustic but still elegant.
"As for personal touches, we had fun creating our own seating chart and menus with puns. Our neon sign for the photobooth 'You’re my favorite' was something we used to say to each other when we were dating. Lastly, we wanted to blend our cultures with traditional ceremonies and Asian dishes served family-style. We opted for boba and ice cream instead of cake.
"There were so many special moments. Dance was a huge part of our wedding because that was how we first met. We had not one, but three dances together. Our first dance was exciting and fun (no one got hurt so that’s a success!), and for many of our guests, it was their first time ever seeing us dance. Our second dance was nostalgic; we danced a choreography that we first learned six years ago in college. And our last dance was intimate and private, swaying to one of our favorite love songs from Moulin Rouge."
