Soft Green Tones for an Al Fresco Wedding in Tuscany
Happy Friday from everyone at Team Sparrow! We're setting our weekend sights on a dreamy Tuscan wedding from the lens of Le Vie Photography and the talent of Weddings by Silke. What's even more endearing is the thoughtful storyline behind the the design of this wedding inspiration. Below you'll read about the process from Silke herself....
From designer Weddings by Silke: "As wedding planner and stylist based in Tuscany I have seen a lot of beautiful venues, but the Borgo Santo Pietro is for sure one of the most stunning and exclusive venues I ever have seen. Every single spot at this amazing place is perfectly styled with love and you can’t stop to be amazed by so much prettiness. Therefore we decided for a very simple and organic styling which fits perfectly with the surrounding and respect the style of the venue – et voila: the idea of „A homage to the olive“ was born. The intention of the super talented florist Gabriela of Copihue Floral Studio was to tell a story about a dynamic bride, with a natural and sophisticated taste, capable of imposing her beauty with simplicity. The amazing light and soft silk bridal gown of Cortana was the perfect match for these mesmerizing surroundings. The simple stationary of Nicnillasink was inspired by the beautiful monogram of the venue and we loved how everything came together in a really harmonious way."
From Le Vie Photography: "For this editorial shoot, I wanted to take the term "Tuscany Inspired Weddings" to a new level. Rather than designing a shoot that looks like Tuscany here in the States, I decided that I really want to be inspired by Tuscany. So I reached out to Silke about doing an editorial shoot together and flew 6,000 miles across the world to truly "be inspired". I knew that Tuscany is not short of beautiful old world charm and gorgeous venues. When I reached out to Silke about the shoot she immediately had the same mindset as me. That is, to find one of the most exclusive venues in Tuscany and create something magical. The Relais Borgo Santo Pietro was truly a dream to shoot at. The venue was filled with beautiful decor and details at every corner. The beautiful neutral tones of the stones throughout the venue and even in the getting ready suite were just perfect for what I envisioned for this editorial shoot. I wanted to create something that was soft, subtle, and romantic. A look that would be appreciated by the fine art bride."
