From the Wedding Planner/Stylist, Lisa Gaskarth: “When the days are short and nights are long, I find myself craving a creative outlet to keep my mind fresh through winter. I felt inspired by the color palette of a snowy night and warm winter wishes. Imagine the sparkle of a crisp white snowy plain, a tawny doe peeking through the ice covered trees and a bright sky of stars lighting up the night. Tasteful animal prints came into play with this stunningly unique linen from La Tavola Linen called “Treks” in the color Fawn as well as a subtle leopard print backing on our menus, designed by MLC Designs. BorrowedBLU provided our place settings - unexpected glassware in varying colors, white and gold flatware and a gorgeous “Siren” glass charger with a white rim, which framed our earthy ceramic plates. Floraltique created a grouping of centerpieces which brought texture and warmth to the table and complemented the modern place settings perfectly. With a neutral palette, the details had to pop - we wanted it to feel thoughtful and fresh.

Our models are a real couple - seeing them connect in front of the camera was so special. The bride’s hair had stars scattered throughout and her Willow By Watters gown from Lovely Bride LA was covered in faceted stones, catching every prism of light. The billowy sleeves added a whimsical touch. The groom wore a custom suit by Christopher Schafer Clothier in masculine but soft earth tones.”
