Today's styled shoot by Frammenti Wedding is proof of the possibilities that come with thinking outside the typical wedding box - and let us just say, we are obsessed. “The Fisherman and His Soul” is a project inspired by Oscar Wilde's novel and tells about the paths of an impossible love, the human nature, the deepest desires, and the contradictions of the world. From Planner, Frammenti Wedding: "An eternal bond that is born between a little mermaid and a fisherman, as well as his soul. The young fisherman, infatuated by the beauty of the little mermaid, decides to follow her into the depths of the sea. However, he has to get rid of his soul, since the marine inhabitants do not possess it. He enlists the help of a priest and of an intriguing red-haired witch, with whom he is forced to dance a horrible dance. She confesses him that the soul is nothing other than what humans call shadow and gives him a weird knife to cut it. The fisherman gets rid of his soul and dives into the sea foam.

The soul now heartlessly wanders the world for two long years and in the third year it returns to the shores of the sea, where it meets the fisherman again. The soul tells him that it has met a girl who dances naked with extreme grace and they decide to go together to look for her. The soul does everything to regain the young man's heart but the love for the little mermaid is too strong and too damned that he decides to return to his little mermaid. The fisherman goes back to the bay and tries to call her, but she does not answer. A project that holds the heart of this novel. Pastel colours that vary from pink, yellow and orange. A palette of colours which is based on natural elements such as the colour of the sun and the pink of quartz (the stone symbol of pure love), which we find in the placeholders and wax stones. Stationery details enriched by two ex voto hearts that represent the promise. A white mise en place with natural ceramic details and the decorated cutlery on the right-hand side. Jewellery in pink and gold shades, like the richness of the sea. Vintage wood-coloured seats to recall the trunks brought from the sea to the shore. A swing to sway on the waves and be shipwrecked, which represents the uncertainty of the choice to renounce to the earth. A letter that refers to the speech of the fisherman when he no longer finds his mermaid. Wedding dresses with soft lines to emphasize the shape of the mermaid."
