Summer wedding flowers inspiration with peonies
We love an understated minimalist aesthetic but there's certainly a time for maximalist style too, and summer is it. When the gardens and hedgerows are in full bloom, we love to see this abundance channelled in weddings styled with an excess of colour, pattern and texture. However when following the 'more is more' aesthetic with summer wedding flowers, care still needs to be taken when styling to ensure that the look feels beautifully cohesive, as in this gorgeous shoot at Woodbine Mansion in Austin, TX.
This wedding shoot featured juicy bright details with blousy blown peonies and roses, floral patterned tablecloths and luxe gold details. We are totally head-over-heels for the floral design, reminiscent of a rambling garden in the midst of summer. It really adds to the feeling of plenty and beautifully contrasts the barefoot bridal look with her simple lace gown. Just perfect!
