Rustic wedding with succulents and Jenny Packham dress

Dec 20, 2013 | Weddings
The bride's Jenny Packham dress (Eden) is so beautifully embellished it really steals the show in today's real wedding from Q Weddings. Andy and Katie tied the knot in a quaint little wildflower museum in Austin, Texas and the wildflowers on the rustic reception tables are just perfectly in keeping with their relaxed but chic theme. From Suzi at Q Weddings: "Rustic and elegant wedding at the architecturally unique Ladybird Johnson Wildflower in Austin. The gardens and surrounding areas contain native plant life, including big oak trees. Katie and Andy love Austin and spend as much time there as possible, including getting engaged under a big oak tree...that they call "our tree". They currently live in Houston but knew they had to introduce their friends and family to the wonderful city of Austin. The bride wore a Jenny Packham gown with Art Deco detailing. The groom wore a tux. The guests also wore evening attire which is a nice contrast to the outdoor relaxed surroundings of the venue." The flowers were a mix of succulents and pastel/chartreuse florals. Rosehip Flora does stunning florals and their creations, along with the tableware, made this wedding unique and beautiful." Austin is known as the live music capital so it's no surprise that the band, Memphis Train Revue, carried the reception to another level."
