Trust us, folks - you're not going to want to miss this one...
From Styled Lovely: "Summertime brings up fond memories of many things – sunshine, peonies, and our personal favorite – ice cream! With that in mind, we created an ice cream inspired summer wedding. From the vintage ice cream truck to floral ice cream cones, there was no shortage of delicious details!
The bride wore a Valentini Spose dress with the prettiest floral appliques and detachable flutter sleeves, perfect for the garden vibes of both her ceremony and reception. The groom’s dark pink suit by Stitch and Tie was an unexpected soft detail that perfectly complimented the feminine floral details of the bride’s dress.
The outdoor ceremony setup included a simple greenery arch by ReBloom Florals and elegant acrylic chairs by Lovely Luxe Rentals, the perfect romantic garden setting for nuptials. The most lush garden of all, however, was the reception table, set in the midst of sprawling greenery and a full floral garland of peonies, garden roses, and countless beautiful blooms. Lovely Luxe Rentals embraced the “secret garden” feel with a floral-inspired charger plate and pastel dinnerware. Additional tabletop rental details, like the Gold and Lucite flatware and the elegant blush-colored stemware elevated the tablescape into an awe-inspiring work of art. Each table setting was completed with an individual floral ice cream cone and a watercolor place card, tied to the cone with the finest silk chiffon ribbon from Lovely Ring Boxes.
The place cards and menus were only a small taste of the custom stationery by Elephant Limbo, which included details such as deckled edges, pastel hues, and hand-calligraphy addressed envelopes. The hand drawn details, like the floral ice cream envelope liner, ensured that no guest would forget that ice cream played a central role in this love story.
There was no sweeter way to conclude this ice-cream inspired wedding than with the bride and groom sharing some ice cream! Mike’s Good Humor provided an authentic vintage 1931 Ford Model A Good Humor truck, the perfect backdrop for summer bridal portraits. A uniformed Good Humor man served the couple frozen treats—the classics!— Good Humor strawberry shortcake bars and chocolate éclair bars, nostalgic summer sweets."
