Inspired by the rolling hills of California, this editorial embraced golden hues, ethereal florals, and elegant details. California is overflowing with beauty and stunning light and so the goal of photographer Mallory Dawn Photography and stylist Lovingly Yours Weddings and Events was to embrace that overall essence.
"We came across a beautiful local trail that perfectly embodied our vision, a field of overgrown, golden grass, kissed by the gentle rays of California sunshine. To further our vision, our beautiful bride wore a lovely Carol Hannah gown, simple in design, but it created such breathtaking movements as she made her way through the hills. Stacey Alyson Artistry and The Look by Lo teamed up to enhance our bride’s natural beauty with simple bridal makeup look and a loose whimsical updo showcasing the Carol Hannah Petals and Pearls Comb. In addition, the talented Emily of Emily Rose Ink, created an organic suite on soft, handmade paper. Our color palette was also inspired by the California sun, as seen in the beautiful bouquet created by Plain Jane Posy, featuring soft hues of golden yellow and blush pink. Jessica of Lovingly Yours Weddings and Events did such an incredible job bringing our vision to life by coordinating all of the elements so gracefully. Our team is very proud of this editorial because it is representative of the state that we’re lucky enough to call home."
