Mountain meadow wedding inspiration in Upstate New York
Can you picture a more perfect secluded spot to declare your love for one another? We certainly can't and are totally here for the dreamy meadow vibe of this gorgeous wedding captured by New York wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Mary Dougherty. Small intimate weddings are still on rise and it is little wonder, when they can look as effortlessly beautiful as this low key celebration in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York.
Imagine carrying a clutch of wildflowers as you walk a winding path to meet your beau, veil billowing in the breeze and surrounded by the lush spring landscape. We love how Mary has captured the understated carefree feel of this couple in her signature light and natural fine art style, which she shares with photographers in one-to-one coaching sessions and workshops that you can find out about here and at the end of this post.
New York wedding photographer Mary Dougherty is based in the Adirondacks and frequently works in Vermont, Massachusetts and Maine. Her fourth workshop for film photographers pictured above combined the beauty of the mountains and lakes. The three day event came to life with a welcome dinner on an island, a winding aisle for the mountain wedding ceremony, and a beautiful morning on a mountain top. Attendees enjoyed delicious food and time in nature while learning to shoot film and grow their businesses.
One photographer in attendance shared: "Aside from the gorgeous shoots, stunning models and thoughtful story crafted for us to capture, Mary is an excellent teacher and expert in her craft. The education market is saturated, and it's not always clear who is in it for themselves. Mary was intentional in her teaching and committed to help us grow." - Juliana Cole
