Modern contemporary Fall Wedding Ideas
The concept was derived from a place of admiration for the beautiful ginkgo tree, which has been around for millions of years and highlight the changing of the seasons in a dramatic way as their leaves turn from vibrant green to ochre each fall. Drawing from their ephemeral beauty and unique shape, floral designer Amanda Vidmar Design and stylist Ruby & Rose wanted to design a table that felt elegantly minimal, yet allowed the texture and impact of the foliage to shine through. All photographed by photographer Cassie Valente...
"The table was set with unglazed Hasami porcelain plates, honeyed glassware, and a lightly textured linen. An arrangement of ginkgo, maple, rose gold lisianthus, mauve hellebore, and honey-dijon garden roses in a simple ceramic vessel highlighted each flower’s abstract form.
We chose a delicate, free-flowing dress for our bride, and kept makeup natural with an unfussy, tousled braid. Keeping with the naturalistic and seasonal vibe, she carried a bouquet of fall greenery and blooms."
