Glamorous Bridal Session Inspiration in Bold Color

Aug 25, 2015 | Inspiration
Today we are feeling refreshed with this gorgeous Marsala inspired editorial by film photographer Charla Storey and stylist Birds of a Feather. In a sea of (gorgeous) neutral and monochrome, a slightly moodier look stands out. For the bride who finds inspiration from more opulent and rich tones and craves a bit of color - incorporating bold florals, like these by  The Southern Table, and bold colored pieces of decor doesn't have to feel dark. This set of inspiration feels light, airy yet makes a statement... From Charla Storey: "We were inspired by the deep tones of Marsala, black, and plum for this moody shoot, but wanted to make sure it still felt like wedding inspiration, so we added in some soft blush tones and decided to set it in a white, industrial space.  We used black candles to create that moody atmosphere, which was helped along by the day being overcast.  We also dressed our bride in black and blush to add in some soft drama." 1000142-R1-E016 Charla Storey Photography 1000145-R1-E012 Charla Storey Photography 1000144-R1-E002 Charla Storey Photography 1000142-R1-E002_2 Charla Storey Photography 1000143-R1-E016 Charla Storey Photography 1000140-R1-E008 Charla Storey Photography 1000138-R1-E008 Charla Storey Photography 1000144-R1-E009 Charla Storey Photography 1000142-R1-E011 Charla Storey Photography 1000141-R1-E003 Charla Storey Photography 1000140-R1-E004 Charla Storey Photography 1000142-R1-E004 Charla Storey Photography 1000144-R1-E012 Charla Storey Photography
