English country manor wedding inspiration with Monique Lhuillier dresses
If elegant, romantic and classic are your dream wedding key words, you're going to adore today's English country manor wedding inspiration shoot hosted at Sandlewood Manor in Houston. "With its intentional and intricate details, Sandlewood Manor played an integral role in setting the scene for this editorial," explains Texas wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Marni Wishart. "Every corner of the venue provided a warm and welcoming space that invited us to sit a little longer, enjoy conversation, and marvel at the horses that grazed peacefully in the pasture outside."
Monique Lhuillier gowns are the epitome of sophisticated, elevated elegance and the perfect choice for this editorial. The first gown, a high-neck lace dress with full sleeves, was presented in two ways: with a dramatic black satin bow adorned the back of the dress and styled with a textured birdcage veil, then in a classic look with a full cathedral-length tulle veil. The second gown, with beautiful pink floral detailing and custom headpiece and earrings by Erin Rhyne, created a more playful ensemble for the reception, with its sumptuous flowing skirt.
The ceremony space consisted of a beautiful mantelpiece installation composed of magnolia, roses and hydrangeas, with wooden chairs framing the space to create an intimate setting. "One of our favorite design elements is layering the table with solid fern velvet linen and a patterned runner at each place setting, paired with fine china and heirloom silver passed down from the florist’s grandparents," adds Marni.
