Classic Queen of Sheba Inspired Bridals
It's no secret that wedding publications can lack a certain level of diversity, which is why we are thrilled that photographer Ashton Jean-Pierre sent us this stunning and classic historic architecture-inspired bridal editorial to share today. This beautiful bride, with her naturally textured hair and dewy skin, looks positively radiant with the antique gold crown by Stephanie Browne and her art deco Gwendolynne gown. Parliament House, a popular venue in Melbourne, is remarkably beautiful with the grand hallways and massive doors... seems a bit reminiscent of Paris, no?
Today's feature reminds us of the beauty in simplicity and timelessness and the magic of a diverse wedding world out there. Thank you to this team and to our brides, get your Pinterest boards ready! Such a beauty...
From Ashton Jean-Pierre Photography: "As my idea is having Queen of Sheba shoot, I had an opportunity to organise and design the shoot with amazing vendors - bridal designer, florist, headpiece, make up artist. Although we kept it very simple as it’s all about the bride. The shoot happened in Melbourne, Australia.
I have a passion for the historic architecture, exploring it always gives me inspiration, so I chose The Parliament House, Melbourne, Australia which has amazing detail! Sandra wore two beautiful handmade bridal gowns by Gwendolynne, she carried a Sassafras Flower Design’s pastel bouquet which consisted of white, soft peach and pastel pink tones held together with Songbird Silk’s cream ribbons, which contrasted perfectly against the ivory dress. Beautiful timeless paper goods by Jianery Calligraphy with hues of ivory, dark brown and gold.” Two style hairs - curly and blow out were styled by Wawili. The model also was pampered by the amazing make up artist Death by Contour."
