We're huge fans of the fine art dream team that is Joy De Vivre and Erich McVey Photography and when Joy Proctor submitted this incredibly elegant styled shoot, we were blown away. This editorial is full of classic elegant wedding ideas and just exudes an organic style in an intimate setting. If I was to renew my vows, I would hop straight into these images... From Joy: "Anyone who has even been to Oregon knows the sheer beauty that is found everywhere. Portland is a beautiful city with an amazing history, and its incredible architecture stands testament. I fell in love with the Manor House and Estate Gardens at Lewis & Clark College; it’s stone stairways, carved fountains, and of course the incredible views of beautiful Mt. Hood in the background. With this editorial, I aimed to capture that impeccable elegance of turn of the century Portland. Invitations addressed in gold calligraphy on soft cotton paper. A bride in her grandmothers diamonds, walking barefoot by candle light through her families gardens. The intimate dinner table set at the foot of a carved stone fountain.
