Bridgerton Style Classic Wedding Inspiration
As period dramas go, Bridgerton has it all: thousands of highly elaborate costumes; a galaxy of diamond jewellery; and a wedding in Season 1 that had brides to be taking notes. If you've been part of the Bridgerton express and have binge watched the first season on Netflix like the rest of us, today's wedding inspiration in the Dorset countryside in the UK will have you sipping tea with a pinky up by the end of these stunning images by Camilla Arnhold Photography and styled by The Timeless Stylist...
From The Timeless Stylist: "This editorial is for all the lovers out there of classical, old romance. We were depicting a modern-day romance of a couple who love history, period dramas and old-world England, with nostalgia at the heart of it all. Key to the design was using pieces from and inspired by the Rococo period, but in a gentle and pared back way, so not to achieve a stuffy or outdated look. With consistent design details, an abundance of English garden flowers, all in a delicate palette, we were keen to let the beauty of the building shine through. Other key elements we considered were designing a dress that was representative of the period, but right for a modern-day wedding, and picking the perfect accessories to compliment the whole look. We chose a real couple who are engaged to be our couple for the day."
