Boy Named Banjo's Ford Garrard tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Taylor Davis in a weekend-long celebration in Nashville. The couple exchanged vows in an elegant church ceremony, before continuing the festivities with a stylish wedding reception at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Nashville wedding photographer Leah Margulies captured all the love, emotion and special details of the day, which was exquisitely planned by Fete Nashville. Founder Sara Fried tells us more about it: "The traditional wedding ceremony took place at the Garrard’s family Church, adorned with breathtaking arrangements of white and green hydrangeas, roses, and spray roses. The air was filled with joy and anticipation as Taylor and Ford exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by their loved ones.
"Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a delightful cocktail hour at the Country Music Hall of Fame, inspired by the couple’s shared love of music and jazz lounges. The venue was transformed with luxurious merlot velvet accents, complemented by the smooth melodies of a jazz trio. Custom beer bottles doubled as unique seating cards, guiding guests to their tables where they enjoyed Taylor’s favorite espresso martinis and a selection of local Tennessee craft beers curated by Ford.
"As evening approached, the doors to the event hall opened dramatically, revealing a scene straight out of a fairytale. The Music City All Stars set the mood with Curtis Mayfield’s “Move on Up”, while flickering candles and glittering crystal chandeliers created a magical ambiance over the gold marble dance floor. Dinner, toasts, and dancing ensued, with Taylor and Ford’s first dance serenaded by Ford’s bandmates from Boy Named Banjo, a heartfelt moment that encapsulated the couple’s shared passion for music.
"Throughout the evening, guests were delighted by surprises, heartfelt toasts, and delicious late-night snacks that kept spirits high. Taylor and Ford’s wedding weekend was a testament to love, family, and the beauty of creating lasting memories."
