Bonnie and Eric’s Scenic St. Lucia Elopement

As far as elopements go, Bonnie and Eric did it right! We're gushing over the insanely beautiful location for their intimate elopement of St. Lucia, specifically Sugar Beach. Large wedding parties aren't for everyone and there are endless pros and cons for every type of wedding! These two opted for something much smaller than a traditional wedding which allowed them to travel and have photographs taken to remember their special trip. Alexandra Grace captured the magic of the Caribbean, giving us all the wanderlust!

From photographer Alexandra Grace: "Bonnie & Eric opted for a low-stress wedding plan: eloping to St. Lucia! What does eloping mean, exactly? In their case, it meant a plan that would allow them to take a relaxing vacation, get scenic wedding photos, AND celebrate with family. After getting married at the local courthouse, they flew to St. Lucia to stay at the Viceroy resort at Sugar Beach for their honeymoon. Once they were back home, they hosted a small dinner reception for friends & family in Portland, Oregon.

With private pools, views overlooking the Pitons, and the most hospitable staff I’ve ever met, the resort was the perfect location for our photo shoot. We started with the view of the Pitons behind their room, took a shuttle up the hill for an alternate view, and ended the session on the sands of Sugar Beach itself & the at sunset. We climbed the stairs in front of the sugar mill and were rewarded with golden sunset light & incredible architecture for a backdrop. We experienced a warm Caribbean day surrounded by lush greenery, mountains, and a view of a few boats in the harbor of the peaceful beach.

Bonnie wore an embellished Adrianna Papell dress from BHLDN paired with a white & green bouquet and a simple green flower crown she made herself. Her blue ring, classic earrings, and beaded gown in such a lush environment made for some unforgettable images."
