Blush English Springtime Wedding Inspiration
Occasionally in my line of work I'm lucky enough to meet the talented vendors behind all the beauty we feature online and recently Sam and Reid from Orange Photographie travelled from Montana all the way to little old England in the Spring. They were truly the sweetest couple and together with a host of other talented British vendors, we headed to the stunning English country manor home of the Earl and Lady of Shaftesbury, St. Giles House. Their newly refurbished bridal suite lent a delicate balance of old and new for the ivory silk Cherry Williams gown and the grandeur of the outdoors was the perfect backdrop to the blush embellished gown by Rowan Joy.
From Sam at Orange Photographie: "Reid and I have a deep, abiding love for Great Britain and travel there frequently. Having visited in each season, Spring is perhaps our favorite time to go (we were married ourselves in the Wales in the month of May). The Spring season in Britain is a beautiful symphony of new growth, romance, and a dash of moodiness - after all, what is an English Springtime without a spot of rain? We wanted to capture the charm of this time of year, and there was no more perfect place to achieve this than the idyllic St. Giles House."

"Although centuries old, the house and grounds were awakening with life and set the stage for the romance of our sweet couple to blossom. We envisioned a couple that wholly complemented each other and brought out each other’s dormant qualities. She is fresh, full of life, and brimming with hope. She is the dreamer, while he is strong and steady and helps keep her grounded. Although more pragmatic, he loves how she inspires him to join her in the clouds. The exquisitely embellished Sakura (Japanese for cherry blossom) gown by Scottish designer Rowan Joy was the ideal gown for our bride and captured her fanciful spirit, as did the gorgeous English blooms lovingly gathered together by Martha and the Meadow. Not even showers could dampen this couple’s spirit, and the moody Spring weather only gave them another reason to love the rain."
