4 Locations to Consider for your Paris Wedding or Engagement Session
We know Paris is a firm favorite with our brides and we don't blame them! It's not the most romantic city in the world for nothing! But alas, if you have never traveled there before or you're not sure what type of backdrop you'd like to have to your wedding or pre-wedding shoot, then take a look at these gorgeous images photographed by Fine Art Curation member Christophe Serrano. Four different types of location to choose from so all you have to decide is which you prefer!
LOCATION 1: CHATEAU INTERIOR
Want a French feel and aesthetic for your images but you're going to be in Paris during the colder months? Consider a Chateau like this one for its many elegant rooms and stunning interior designs. Staying in is the new going out...
LOCATION 2: CHATEAU EXTERIOR
If you'll be visiting Paris (or elsewhere in France) in the Summer months then consider shooting outside a Chateau for that wow factor. Think sweeping dresses on stairs and being a princess for the day. You can even ask your planner to set up a table and some floral displays for added drama.
LOCATION 3: EIFFEL TOWER
No trip to Paris would be complete without visiting the Eiffel Tower of course. Your photographer will know the best places to get the best shots but just remember that to avoid the crowds in your photos, you may have to be there very early in the morning (so your hair and make up etc will have to be done literally at dawn!). Definitely worth the early wake up call...
LOCATION 4: PETIT PALAIS
This museum in the center of Paris is another landmark location if you're looking for grandeur and a statement shot. Just like the Eiffel Tower, be prepared to get there early to avoid crowds and don't forget to add a wedding planner to your vendor list as they are invaluable at knowing all the best times and places to get those amazing shots you've wanted for so long...
From Christophe Serrano: "Together with Anne-Clothide Legin - Hedhera Wedding, we have set up an ambitious post lockdown Styled Shoot that we have named “Mademoiselle Paris”.
We wanted to show this desire for freedom, to run, to laugh, to express ourselves, to breathe, to have the right to love each other… We created a Styled Shoot wedding that would represent for us the “Paris” that inspires us, that of elegance, of dream mixed with this positive energy represented by this couple full of life and love.
We chose the Château de Villette, a listed castle that perfectly expresses the “Savoir vivre” à la Française. With its elegance, its sumptuous rooms and its gardens created by the creator of the gardens of Versailles, André Le Nôtre. This place has inspired many producers and was able to welcome actors such as John Travolta or Tom Cruise. It even inspired Dan Brown for his best seller “Da Vinci Code”. This dream and this feeling of freedom Intertwined with prestigious places evoking the great “Paris”, we have chosen to stage our bride in different atmospheres, dresses and decorations. Like a dream without limits of imagination."
