Organic Colorful Coastal Wedding Ideas
With a pop of color, this coastal wedding inspiration from photographer Kenzie Victory and stylist Kamea Events has us excited to see more color and bright tones in weddings in 2019! Drawing on the simplicity of the coast line and timelessness of nature, the florals from Edelweiss Floral show us how bolder colors can look so effortlessly fine art...
There’s something about highlighting and elevating an environment and our surroundings with simple designs. Manzanita, Oregon is a quiet little coastal town with only a few local shops & retardants. The crowds aren’t as drawn to this small town as they are to bigger coastal cities, such as Cannon Beach or Seaside, in Oregon. It is the perfect location for an intimate exchanging of vows, and we wanted to showcase that.
Dorotheea Dragomir of Kamea Events assembled a team of local creative vendors who carried out the vision for a simple, yet feminine design. Everyone came together to contribute key pieces: Victoria Krav designed & created a beautiful hand-lettered invitation suite, Zinare Bridal provided a simple, yet feminine gown with an illusion back, and Brittany Blanchard executed the most tasteful hair and makeup style for our model, Amy Evans. These vendors, paired with Bella Belle Shoes, BBJ Linen & a Lace Byrd ring box, brought together intentional details, maintaining the integrity of a simple design set out to emphasize the importance of an organic location.
The grassy shoreline of Manzanita Beach provided the perfect setting for a tablescape set for two, complete with light snacks & beverages, styled by Kamea Events. Lauren Royster of Edelweiss Floral designed arrangements that looked as if they grew on site. The ground installation for a ceremony backdrop, a delicate bridal bouquet, and a tasteful centerpiece each elevated the surrounding without looking out of place nor imposing a demand for attention.
With Kenzie Victory’s keen eye for details, organic moments, and authentic movement, this inspiration editorial photoshoot came together. Her understanding and use of film photography perfectly complemented the elements of the overall design.
