Natural Beauty and Citrus Colored Florals
We are blown away by today's natural beauty and her absolutely marvelous and incredible hair, her inner and outer glow, and the premise of this inspiration shoot: less is more. The muted color palette of all the foundation design elements (i.e. the linens, china, flatware, etc) pairs so well with the vibrant citrus tones of the stunning blooms by Swoon Floral Design. We love the way Jamie Rae Photo captured the simplicity and natural textures. Without further ado, we'll leave you to swoon over these beauties like we did...
From Swoon Floral Design: "As a floral and event designer I am always trying to develop different color palettes and combine different textures to create something unique for my clients. I think often times “luxury” and “beauty” are defined by bold color choices, busy patterns, sparkle, and shine. I wanted to fall away from the busyness, and create something that was equally as beautiful and more refined.
I was inspired by neutrals, texture, simple lines, and natural elements. I loved how the tablescape was primarily a combination or neutral tones and different textures. The vases and candlesticks by Notary Ceramics were some of my favorite elements of the table, the subtle texture created the most beautiful vessel for the florals.
Our model was stunning. I knew she was the perfect for this shoot with her beautiful skin tone, and wild, perfectly untamed hair. Cassandra Kennedy did a beautiful job on her makeup. The rust tones on both her eyes and lips complimented the touch of color in the florals.
The paper goods, cake, gown, and jewelry all embodied my concept for this shoot: less is more."
