Some weddings just naturally exude style and if you're not a short wedding dress convert after this I'll eat my hat... With one of the most stunning brides we've seen, this monochrome wedding of Heath & Andy from Melissa Schollaert is sweet, simple elegance at it's best. There's not often a moment where I wish I could be a bridesmaid at a wedding just so I could wear the bridesmaid dress but I defy you to not like the black lace numbers in this monochrome real wedding...

From Heath (the bride) ~ "My hair pin was my maternal grandmother's brooch. My grandfather gave it to her for their anniversary right before he passed away. Neither of them is still living so I love that I was able to include them both in our special day. I wore my own pearl earrings."

"All bouquets, boutonnieres and flowers for my grandparents entire house and yard were by Roots of Greenville, SC. I actually wasn't involved in the flowers for the house and yard at all, my grandmother did all of those on her own working with roots to keep everything consistent. It was so fun to be surprised by the entire house that day, it brought tears to my eyes! Their house has never looked prettier!"

"My dress was by Lourdes Chavez. I found it at Coplon's of Columbia, SC. It wasn't a wedding dress though I found it in black originally. It was exactly what I wanted so luckily they contacted the designer and they agreed to make it for me in ivory. It was perfect!"

"The Catering was by Don Riser of Greenville, SC. He did everything except the ham biscuits and cheese pennies (cheese crackers with pecans). We have those at almost every holiday or function we have as a family. They are a family staple! (My grandmother actually had someone help her cook when I was growing up. Her name is Ann and she is like family to us. Both the biscuits and pennies are Ann's recipes."
