We were very fortunate to not only style and plan Katie and Mark's insanely beautiful Scottish engagement session and wedding, but to personally witness the epic views that we did. Together with a top-notch team, including our absolutely favorite, Laura Gordon, behind the lens, we enjoyed every single minute of this amazing couple's flawlessly planned Scotland adventure. From a whiskey distillery tour, to tasting, and lastly a last minute stop alongside the road in the Highlands... everything was so memorable and beautiful. From bride Katie: "A destination wedding is an amazing way to decide to celebrate your union. It creates an opportunity for a one day event to turn into a week-long celebration by transporting you & your guests to a foreign land or place to truly spend some unique time together. Our wedding was a true fairytale, as were the days before...replete with lots of whiskey, heather, Scottish rain, and good family times. I cannot recommend this approach to a wedding enough.... It is a truly special time to share with your loved ones. Local and authentic activities can be planned for attendees, the landscape can be experienced wholeheartedly and you as a couple can be documented differently in the place where you chose to tie the knot."
