From Planner Krissy Campbell: "Blackberry Farm is nestled in the rolling hills and lush forests of Walland , Tennessee, the heart of the crossroads of the United States. The opulent yet authentic charm of the property truly combined perfectly with the bold, yet romantic, high-end fashion of the Millia London gowns we couldn’t wait to style. We wanted to tell the story of the sophisticated yet heart-warming southern bride as she experiences her wedding week experience.
As intimate weddings are becoming more and more a reality and preference for many, we are excited to continue to show brides and couples that this can truly be a unique experience for them and their guests over a few days at a destination of their choice. The pressure doesn’t have to be pent up toward one day, rather couples can allow themselves to put toward a few days of a destination celebration with their closest loved ones and relieve some of that pressure while still executing an incredible design and aesthetic.
Each of the stunning gowns were paired with a uniquely styled floral bouquet that pulled in late summer tones with the organic outdoor elements surrounding the celebration. The soft blue gown especially played well with the cool tones of the property. The florals were the perfect contrast of deep color against the textured gowns. Their free-form movement and delicate style was reflective of the naturally inspired spaces at the farm as well.
Our bride wore natural makeup and flowing hair to represent her free spirit and natural beauty and style while the groom remained clean shaven in neutral toned attire for a relaxed, timeless look. We loved showing them together in their boat ride on the pond at the property. This again is a reflection of their relaxed, yet elegant experience at the venue.
Ultimately, the majority of the project was to capture the bride during her celebration week. No matter if she is in her dressing room, welcoming guests, making a grand entrance, promising forever during a ceremony, or celebrating over an elegant dinner, the options for showcasing her story (and style!) are endless and meaningful. We hope that this project proved just that!"
