Soft Vintage Pinks in this Swan House Wedding
Just one look at this Atlanta wedding and you'll know dreams really do come true. For Ariel & Jordan's special day, Fine Art Curation member Krissy Campbell Celebrations created a fairytale experience, from the ethereal flowers to the bridal party table set outside with the stunning Swan House wedding venue as a backdrop. The romance in Fine Art Curation member bonphotage's imagery will have you falling in love with love. Ariel & Jordan first met after being introduced by her brother, making their relationship, from the start, one that truly values family and their community around them. Living in Atlanta with family not too far from the area, they were engaged as the new year rang in and knew they wanted to marry in the heart of Georgia. From there, it was an even easier decision in choosing the stunning Swan House at the Atlanta History Center. The timeless, romantic history, 'Old World' architecture and natural landscape felt perfectly fit to Ariel and Jordan’s sophisticated, yet authentic style and history.
From stylist and planner Krissy Campbell Celebrations: "After hearing about their love for nature, travel, history and architecture, we knew it would be fitting to start with a neutral color palette, keeping in line with their timeless taste. Ariel and Jordan also described their ideal celebration with words such as “natural beauty, genuine, inviting, thoughtful, personal, grateful, elevated, fun, journey, sophisticated, friendship, intimate, and calm.” It was also extremely important to them to create original moments, integrate their families, ensure their guests felt personally appreciated, and to find space alone for the two of them that day.
We began to start pairing them with professionals that could beautifully bring these elements and experiences to life. We worked with talented floral designer, Thorne and Thistle, to create stunning floral vignettes that flowed naturally throughout each space at the Swan House - from cascading arrangements down the fountain to flowing pops of greens and softly colored florals and candles through cocktails and dinner tables. She also created the most romantic bouquet for Ariel that popped from her sleek and sophisticated ceremony gown and soft bridal hair and makeup. The personal floral followed suit against the champagne bridesmaid gowns and black tuxes of the bridal party and family. The touch of florals accented the already stunning natural landscape and architecture, but we loved adding flowers to each piece for that touch of originality.
The color palette was softly played off of the lovely Swan House and woven through the reception elements. From the wooden infinity chairs to the subtly textured cream tones in the La Tavola/BBJ linens and napkins, the most natural pieces held the tables together while the pops of deeper color came through in the place settings, candles and paper details. The invitations and day of stationery were designed and calligraphed by the bride herself, a truly personal touch as the couple wrote each guest an individualized note placed at each seat along with the dinner menu. This was a significant piece of recognizing how grateful Ariel and Jordan are for each person that has shared life with them.
Jordan and Ariel also opted to take special moments for themselves throughout the day, as we discussed from the beginning of the planning process. The bride and groom met for a first look in the Boxwood Garden prior to the ceremony followed by a moment during cocktail hour where they could eat, hydrate and change before dinner started. Lastly, as guests exited the reception to line up for a send off, Ariel and Jordan stayed back for a “last dance”, where Ariel wore her mini Caspian get-away dress.
As you can see through the beautifully captured photos and video from the Bon Photage team, Ariel and Jordan were incredibly thoughtful as they chose each detail of their celebration from beginning to end. The aesthetic and beauty was only heightened by the intimate moments between them and the intentional touches added for their loved ones. We hope their story inspires a timeless, yet highly personal approach to celebration at the Swan House and beyond!"
