Refined Rustic Montana Wedding Inspiration
In a refreshingly simple and elegant manner, today's feature boasts a different side to the 'barn wedding'. We actually love the refined rustic aesthetic that a Montana wedding can bring, but often find that couples have difficulty pairing this farm style with an organic aesthetic. Danford Photography dreamt of just this and we are in love with the result - the movement to the Rue de Seine gown, the opulent color palette to the tablescape, and the variety in tones and textures in the The Flower Hat florals... everything is perfect!
From Danford Photography: "Montana is a place that’s incredibly special: it’s mountainous, rugged, and a bit untamed. Barn weddings are a dime a dozen here, and they typically fall into the rustic cowboy category that you’d expect. I wanted to take this shoot to a slightly more sophisticated and simple place, while still celebrating the wild and untamed spirit of Montana. Our location, Foster Creek Farm, is a 100+ year old barn that’s recently been completely renovated. It retains the rustic character of the old barn, but with polished concrete floors, huge windows to let in the light, and other modern touches, it feels sophisticated - the perfect canvas for our shoot. We kept the table settings elegant and minimal to shine the spotlight on the gorgeous, slightly untamed florals provided by The Flower Hat. Bon Temps Collective created a complementary invitation suite for us that combined beautiful subtle blues and torn edges. Our bride wore a flowing Rue de Seine gown paired with half-undone hair and naturally glowing makeup - organic but elegant. On the hill behind the barn, the sky and the snow-capped mountains are the only backdrop that’s needed for any couple on their wedding day."
