Quietly Beautiful Modern Wedding Inspiration
An indoor space with a tinge of mid-century modern beauty calls for cool tones and contemporary bridal pieces, don't you agree? Today's feature by Elizabeth LaDuca was one of those that caught our eye for the unique modern feel. We connected with the simplicity and minimalistic concept, dreamed up by stylist Amy Bagdonas, with beautiful florals by Foret Design Studio...
Words from Elizabeth LaDuca: "Our modern minimal shoot is inspired by the couple looking to craft a celebration that is refined, intentional and quietly beautiful. We envisioned an intimate dinner party in a gallery space, where lofted white ceilings and concrete floors would help set the tone. The ceremony space is centered on a hand-painted backdrop created on raw canvas, with clean-line ghost chairs to ensure the focus is on the couple. A soft and romantic gown adds a classic touch, while a wild and organic bouquet keeps the look fresh. A jumpsuit is the perfect outfit to change into for toasting and dancing the night away with elegant ease."
"The cocktail space takes advantage of the dramatic cathedral ceiling, grounded by bold, comfortable furniture and fun accent pillows. The lounge area is perfect to relax in with family and friends. An intimate dinner is lit by candles of mixed heights on concrete pillars, with organic linens and flatware in keeping with the streamlined, soft and minimal theme. We really wanted to speak to the bride looking to celebrate the beauty in simplicity and clean lines. The bride who is looking to create an experience for guests that is modern yet comfortable; relaxed, yet refined. We feel that movement, texture and light add so much dimension and life to a wedding, and wanted to create a space in which the design could really breathe and shine."
