Patience: A Love Story and Bride and Groom Portraits
“Adopt the pace of nature; her secret is patience.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Love is built - patiently and steadily. We love Megan and Zach's luminous bridal session with film photographer Danford Photography for the heart behind the photographs. Inspired by their true love story while simultaneously inspired by Ralph Waldo Emerson's words, this wedding inspiration is filled with luscious blooms by Sarah's Wedding Garden and one stunning Carol Hannah gown...
From Danford Photography: "In the quiet dappled sunlight underneath beautiful eucalyptus palm trees and surrounded by cacti, agave and other native desert plants, it isn’t difficult to see what Emerson had observed. We hoped to portray a sense of stillness and serenity in this shoot, which was dreamt and brought to life by Sarah Watts of Sarah's Wedding Garden. The tablescape featured gorgeous touches of soft blues and gold and played perfectly with the beautiful invitation suite designed by Paper and Posies. The star of the show was our gown from Carol Hannah, ethereal and exquisitely detailed, which was complemented by softly neutral florals. Our models and real-life engaged couple Megan and Zach made us laugh with tales of their own romance, itself an exercise of patience (she adored him from the moment she laid eyes on him in middle school; it was years later before he noticed her). As the sun sunk lower, no one could take their eyes off of beautiful Megan, luminous and angelic in the fading light."
