Outdoor wedding with floral arch and blush details
A drop dead gorgeous wedding surrounded by blooms and an epic coastal view is what we have for you today! Bride Christine and Groom Charles chose their garden style wedding venue to have a French inspiration with a touch of ethereal romance. They got to include their 10 year old pup and walked down the aisle to a tune from La La Land - how cute is that?! City Flower filled this warm late-Summer day with lush fleurs in blush, ivory, dusty rose and cappuccino hues (umm, dream color scheme anyone?) Prepare for a major dose of pretty with every detail from beginning to end, starting with the gorgeous floral-inspired wedding dress by Liz Martinez Bridal. From the Bride, Christine: "Charles and I have a unique love story. Our families have been good friends for two generations – our grandparents were longtime friends and Charles’ uncle is best friends with my dad. When I was a child, I would often see Charles’ grandparents when I visited my grandmother as they lived nearby. And yet, our paths did not cross until a few years ago when we met online. I felt a special connection and immediate sense of ease during our first date. As we fell in love and shared each other’s backgrounds, we eventually found out that our families had this long history of friendship. What I thought would be a chance meeting with a boy turned out to be kismet. For our wedding, I wanted to recreate the feeling of a magical garden that one would find in the beautiful French countryside. Charles and I were so fortunate to find Catalina View Gardens, with its lush bougainvillea, French lavender blooms, verdant vineyard and sweeping ocean views. Our fantastic wedding planner, Marisa Nicole Events, helped us realize our ethereal, romantic wedding in this fantastic garden setting. City Flowers enhanced my vision by creating a gorgeous chuppah overflowing with my favorite fragrant flowers – cream and blush peonies, gardenias, dahlias, and garden roses. In remembrance of my grandmother, I wore a custom necklace from jewelry she passed down to me, wearing it close to my heart. We added personal elements throughout the wedding, including our 10-year old pup, Nori, in the ceremony and walking out to the score of La La Land (the city where we fell in love and the first movie we saw in theaters together). At the end of the night, the fireplace was lit and our guests were treated to hot mini donuts fried on-site for them to savor. The sublime Sally Pinera was there to capture all the details of our most joyous day."
