Organic and timeless San Antonio Wedding Ideas

Jul 04, 2018 | Inspiration

I know how difficult it can be when you see so much outdoor wedding inspiration and ideas and your venue is going to be indoors. How can you translate that idea to inside whilst making sure your style is still light and organic? This San Antonio editorial from Carlos Hernandez Photography and Chic & Pretty Events has elements of a Tuscan vibe surrounded by the crumbling San Antonio Mission San José Dome. Heaven for those thinking of an Italian/Spanish wedding style...

From Chic & Pretty Events: "Carlos Hernandez Workshops all have a beautiful timeless aesthetic so when coming up with the creative direction, I wanted to stay true to his staple but with a unique approach. We share a love for natural light and outdoor events but we know it isn't always the scene we work within. With that in mind, I decided to bring the outdoors in using oversized arrangements that stood in place of traditional centerpieces for our indoor venue."

"Adri from Moss Floral did a spectacular job bringing this vision to life inside the San Antonio Mission San José Dome. The way these tree-like arches hit the table with trailing flowers felt like a enchantment scene from a storybook. Adri also created a natural foilage installation in one of the open ceiling rooms of the ruins. It was the perfect setting for our bride's portraits in her Carol Hannah gown from Lovely Bride Dallas. The way the wind caught the dress effortlessly was pure magic. Other favorites were the modern chic hair and make up looks created by artist Natalia Issa with a finishing touch of A. B. Ellie earrings. Inspired by texture, the stationary suite I worked with Elsa Madeleine Design on brought so much dimension and sleek definition. Bella Acento Rentals really added value with their premium tabletop selection. There wasn't a single detail that went unattended and the entire team and the attendees were thrilled with the outcome from this amazing workshop Carlos put on."

Thank you so much for sharing this editorial shoot from one of my favorite workshops I’ve hosted so far. Everyone that worked on it is exceptionally talented, and all attendees are amazing photographers as well.
