Neutral Wedding Design in the Colorado Foothills

In today's neutral colored wedding editorial by Connie Whitlock, we're finding much to be inspired by with the pale colors and wild, organic foraged greenery. By pulling materials and florals from the surrounding areas, tablescapes like this can appear so enchanting! The cake by Megan Joy Cakes is just different enough and is full of stone-like textures… so beautiful! Have a peek at those expansive views of Colorado... From Connie Whitlock: "When designing this inspiration shoot, we let our venue - Cherokee Castle, set the tone. We loved the juxtaposition of the elegant and timeless castle against the expansive views of Colorado's foothills. We continued that theme throughout our design, by bringing in a lush, organic, and wild tablescape covered in pete moss, with layers of textures, and florals emerging out of the moss. Candles added height to the design as well as tied in the timeless element of the castle surrounding it. The invitation suite included delicate yet simple designs to highlight the gorgeous calligraphy. The cake highlighted our theme as it included naked top layers against a fondant base adorned with delicate feathers. The cake stand was also covered with pete moss to soften the gold wire stand. We loved how everything came together!"
