Lilac’s and Golden Fire Wedding Ideas in Malibu
Malibu really is a special place and even more so after the recent fires that engulfed such a large and beautiful area. This editorial from Lucy Munoz and Trynh Photo at Malibu Rocky Oaks was shot just a couple weeks prior to the devastating fires and these warm tones and pops of color really showcase the beauty of this location. From photographer Lucy Munoz: "This California film workshop that I co-taught with Trynh Photo began with the beautiful inspiration of the Golden California light as well as our love of the beautiful city of Malibu. Amorology designed and created the most perfect color trilogy of golden hues, plums, and mustards and combined that with an essence of whimsy and fun. We loved that she thought about the entire venue and how she created beautiful seating arrangements, a hanging cake trio, and an epic altar which had views to match. Continuing the theme, Amorology added gold leafing to the crystal and rose quartz rocks and Hey There Cupcake also added it to the gorgeous assortment of cakes. Siren Floral created the most heavenly floral arrangements that added a softness with her inspiring floral textures that are always so well thought out. It is hard to believe that this California Film workshop at Malibu Rocky Oaks would take place only a couple of weeks before the devastating fires that burned through Southern California. The firefighters fought so bravely and thankfully Malibu Rocky Oaks only had damage to the vineyards. We know they were incredibly lucky as so many people lost everything during these fires. Our hearts were so incredibly broken for the residents of Malibu, as well as those cities that were affected in Nor Cal and in So Cal. If anything it taught us all to hold the people that you love a little closer. Please consider donating to California Wildfire Relief."
