Jamie and Jake’s mountainous Washington wedding
You can feel the vibe of this gorgeous wedding straight through the lens of O'Malley Photographers: one purely joyous occasion. Happiness is weaved throughout every single design element of this mountainous wedding, including the woodsy invitation suite by Wedding Sparrow fave, La Happy, and how about that view during the ceremony? Read on for more of this sweet wedding and gawk over that Rue de Seine gown with us, so pretty...
Words from calligrapher La Happy: "The wedding was in the mountains in the eastern part of Washington state at an old dairy preserve (that had never previously been used for wedding). The wedding was a little playful, but the overall style was very etherial and romantic (plus the bride and groom are adorable). There were some bright pops of color with gold and natural, lush greenery accents. The bride wanted to be sure to include some of the unique textures of the mountains in the wedding elements.
The bride and groom were very close with their families and it was particularly special to the bride to be able to do a “first look” with her dad in her families mountain home where they had mad so many family memories.
The ceremony was held in a field. The guests were all seated on handmade benches. The reception was held in the remnants of an old dairy barn. The guests were seated at one big long table, as it was important to the bride and groom to have all of their guests at one table. To polish the rustic barn, gorgeous greenery was draped from the exposed wood rafters above where the family stye dinner was served.
After dinner guests were treated to dancing and dessert under the stars!"
