How To Pull Off a Garden Party Style Micro Wedding
Looking for Micro Wedding or Elopement ideas? We've got you covered. This Garden Party style elopement inspiration is FULL of floral-laden details and this tablescape is both intimately romantic and relaxed, one where I can see myself getting comfortable among Habitat Floral's florals for hours. But add in that gorgeous broderie anglais gown by LoveShackFancy and this celebration becomes wedding material, with my love for it growing even more. Fine Art Curation members Orange Photographie's images are downright frame worthy and I won't be closing out of this gallery anytime soon.
FromOrange Photographie: "Reid and I had a very intimate garden party inspired wedding ourselves 8 years ago, so we knew how special and romantic this kind of wedding could feel. It remains one of the best decisions we’ve ever made as a couple, so we wanted to share how much we’ve loved micro weddings and have always been a proponent of them, even before they became somewhat of a necessity.
One of the things we truly loved most about having such an intimate gathering was how intentional we could be and how much easier it was to soak up time with our loved ones. Our own wedding cultivated the inspiration for this early summer garden party elopement.
Just because a wedding has been reduced in size doesn’t mean you have to compromise on details. In fact, it’s the perfect excuse to go all out on details, from flowers to signature drinks to paper goods. We have urged all our couples this year to have a special invitation created not to send out, but instead to keep as a lovely memento.
Because there have been issues with bridal gowns being ready and available within the sometimes truncated time frame of planning a micro wedding, we looked to LoveShackFancy for the dress. LoveShackFancy has romantic dresses that don’t require long wait times or major alterations and look right at home in a garden setting.
The gorgeous floral arch with roses that almost looked too beautiful to be real was set against the serene mountain backdrop and provided such a tranquil location for a ceremony. Reid has actually been recently licensed to officiate weddings, so we wanted to bring that to light. Offering our elopement couples this service has been a way to streamline planning and take one more thing off our couples’ plates, which they’ve loved!
The dinner and cocktails in the trees was also incredibly magical. When you are having such a small wedding, it’s actually feasible to have dinner in a more remote location such as this. And that is one of the things we love the most about micro weddings: the flexibility to make things happen that would be much more difficult to logistically manage with a larger guest count.
We hope this gives you hope and urges you to not consider a smaller wedding as a downgrade, but instead a joyful, versatile, and intentional celebration."
